Free summer outdoor concerts are offered by “Sounds of Spirit Lake,” a committee that grew out of the recent University of Minnesota Business Retention & Expansion Study conducted by the City of Menahga. The committee was recently awarded a $5000 Community Arts Access Grant by the Five Wings Arts Council which will assist the committee in reaching the goals of bringing free cultural events to the community, promoting Menahga as a destination for quality cultural events and meeting local business concerns with an influx of visitors.
