Johnson’s on the Water was launched out of a small garage. As the company grew it was clear expansion to a bigger location – central to all the lakes – would be essential to its future success. In 2005 we found the perfect location in the quaint little town of Dorset. Our current location has been the home of a Mercury engine dealership since 1950. As we expanded our services to the region we brought on new employees. Now we have a full staff of three technicians, two parts people and one office person. Together we make up a certified marine shop, here to serve our customers with over 30 years of experience in the Marine Industry.
Johnson’s on the Water is located near Park Rapids, Minnesota, Itasca State Park and the headwaters of the Mississippi.
