New Life Community Church Park Rapids - Pursuing God, Empowering Believers to Demonstrate the Power of His Marvelous Love.
Our Mission is to declare the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness and into His glorious light. We believe what God says about us; "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10). We believe this can be true of anyone who comes to God through His Son Jesus, and so we are motivated to tell others about our God and the life that He offers.
We worship the Lord with great joy. He is worthy of our praise. Jesus said, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." God first loved us and demonstrated that love in the gift of His only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Because of His love, god has enabled us to reach out to others in love. His love compels us.
New Life is a "missions minded" church. We help Christians and ministries all over the world, from many different backgrounds and traditions. We also help and support local ministries and individuals.
If you are weary of walking in the darkness, we invite you to join us in the light. God offers new life, to all who acknowledge His Son, Jesus, as Lord. God is good, all the time, and His love endures forever.
