About
Mission
The primary mission of the Club is to encourage outdoor sports and conservation. Recently the focus has been on shooting, however the current membership is enthusiastic about expanding into archery and conservation.
A little History
With the close of WWII, the boys coming home to Osage, joined their fathers in a weekly get-together to play pinochle and talk about hunting and fishing. By the ‘60’s the club was more organized and had bought the old dump site in Osage for a dollar to be used as a shooting range.
A constitution was written up in the early ‘90s. As of this writing (May ’12), there are only a few of the original member left and the club has taken a wider role in the community.
