Justin Clack and Diane Dennis sold their company to Corey and Laura Bergstrom in mid-April, 2019. Corey and Laura Bergstrom are the official new owners of Coldwell Banker Clack and Dennis Real Estate. The Bergstroms fell in love with the Park Rapids area and purchased a lakehome on Eagle Lake, just north of Park Rapids in 2018. In early 2019, they started their search for a local business to purchase and looked at several with their Realtor, Kelli Johnson. Nothing seemed to be a perfect fit until they discussed the potential of owning a real estate company. After several meetings and discussions, the rest, as they say, is history. Diane Dennis will remain with the firm as the company Broker. "We have always operated our business as a "family and we couldn't have asked for a better fit than the Bergstroms." She also added, "for the time being, the changes will not be apparent, the process of getting fully licensed and becoming brokers will take 3 or 4 years for the new owners." "One thing led to another and here we are," said Justin Clack, who will remain with the firm. "I'm excited to start a new chapter and help with the transition or the Bergstroms. Clack will continue as an associate and will still list and sell all types of real estate for clients. Clack also said, "My family opened the doors on Main Street in 1983, so we are celebrating our 35th year selling real estate in the area." "In that time, we have had over six thousand successful real estate closings, I feel Dolores Clack would be very proud of what we have accomplished since her passing 20 years ago. The Bergstoms are committed to keeping the Coldwell Banker Franchise intact. The name of the company will not be changing either. Bergstrom also added, "Local real estate customers can rest assured we will strive to keep the outstanding level of service in place and we will also look to expand and enhance all aspects of the business. Mr. Bergstrom is a former executive with Cabelas and is currently the president of Swanson Health Products, headquartered in Fargo, ND. The Bergstroms have a home just north of Fargo in the town of Hillsboro and will make their permanent move to the Park Rapids area soorn.
