WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error, the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of men and the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that God is One, the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, having precisely the same nature and worthy of the same worship and obedience.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice for sins, was buried in the tomb, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty with all power and authority in heaven and earth.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to regenerate sinners to new life, to convict men of their sins, and to indwell, guide, instruct and empower believers for godly living and service.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam and is therefore totally depraved--and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only those who are born again by the Spirit will believe Christ in faith and thus become children of God.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are sacraments to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are to be regarded as a means of grace--but not as means of salvation.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the true Church--local and universal-- is comprised of all who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and who have thus placed their faith in Jesus Christ, the Head of the church.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the Lord Jesus Christ will return at the end of history to defeat the final enemy, death. At the present time, He is triumphantly reigning and ruling at the right hand of the Father putting all His enemies under His feet.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the destiny for every believer in Jesus is to be present with the Lord in heaven forever, and for the unbeliever to be judged in hell under God's wrath forever.
WE BELIEVE AND TEACH that the Great Commission given by Jesus to His disciples and to the continuing church is that of making disciples of all the nations and teaching them to obey Jesus Christ as Lord and King.
